Royal Safe Co. has manufactured steel furniture in India since 1934. Our hostel bunk beds are made in our own factory in Sonipat, Haryana, from powder-coated mild steel sheet sourced from TATA Steel and JSW, so you deal directly with the people who cut, weld and finish every bed.

We make double-decker steel bunk beds with or without under-bunk storage drawers, and supply the matching hostel wardrobes and student lockers so a whole room comes from one manufacturer, on one delivery schedule.

How to Choose Hostel Bunk Beds

1. Start from the mattress. Fix the mattress size first; the bed frame is made around it. Most hostels use a standard single mattress; see our bunk bed size guide for standard sizes in feet and mm, and our bunk bed price guide for indicative costs.

2. Check the upper-bunk guard rail. The rail on the top bunk should stand well above the mattress so a sleeping student cannot roll off; we confirm the rail height on the drawing.

3. Decide on storage early. Under-bunk drawers save floor space in small rooms. If students keep clothes in a wardrobe instead, the bed can be ordered without drawers.

4. Ask for a room layout. Our accommodation planner shows how many beds fit a room. We send a drawing with every quotation.

5. Buy beds, wardrobes and lockers together. One manufacturer means matching colours and one delivery date for each hostel block.

Yes, if you want it. We make steel bunk beds with under-bunk storage drawers, and also plain bunk beds for rooms where students use a wardrobe. Matching wardrobes and lockers are available.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
There is no minimum for standard models on orders within India. Custom or private-label designs need at least 25 pieces.
Do you supply hostel bunk beds outside India?
Yes. We export to the UAE, Oman, UK, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. The minimum export order is USD 3,000 and export orders carry a 1-year guarantee.
How do I get a quote?
