Fireproof Gates

Our fireproof gates are manufactured and fire-rated to Indian IS 3614 standards, with ratings up to 120 minutes depending on configuration. IS 3614 is the compulsory Indian standard for metal and timber fire-resistant doorsets, and — along with the older BS 476 Part 22 standard — remains widely accepted across Commonwealth markets. It's worth knowing this isn't automatically the same as EN 1634-1 or UL 10C certification: those use a different, more demanding positive-pressure furnace test method, so a door rated at 60 minutes under BS 476 or IS 3614 isn't automatically equivalent under EN or UL. If your project specifically requires EN or UL certification, tell us before ordering so we can discuss testing and certification options rather than assume equivalence.
