A 13-inch laptop fits a safe of about 20 to 23 litres, a 15-inch laptop needs about 35 to 40 litres, and a 17-inch laptop about 55 litres. Check the inside width and depth, not just the litres.
Standard guest rooms usually take a 23-litre safe that fits inside a wardrobe or bedside cabinet. Premium rooms and suites take 35 to 45 litres, and front and back offices 55 to 100 litres.
